About the Role:

As a Maintenance I at our Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing facility in Rapid City, SD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You will also be responsible for conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive maintenance measures. By effectively maintaining our equipment and facilities, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate degree or certification in a relevant field.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
* Experience with welding and fabrication techniques.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

* Performing routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter changes, and equipment inspections.
* Repairing and troubleshooting machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and resolve issues.
* Conducting preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
* Collaborating with other maintenance team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with our machinery, equipment, and systems. You will also need to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints to perform maintenance tasks accurately. Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software will be essential for documenting and tracking maintenance activities. Additionally, your ability to collaborate effectively with other maintenance team members and communicate any issues or concerns will contribute to the overall success of our maintenance operations.

Salary20.00 - 23.00 Hour
