Library Relief Staff

The Custer County Library is seeking applicants for part-time Relief Library Assistant positions, with a focus on circulation duties. One position will be based at the Custer Branch, and one will be at the Hermosa Branch. The Custer Branch role requires no more than 234 hours per year, while the Hermosa Branch position is limited to 180 hours per year. Both positions are on an as-needed basis, with no set schedule, and selected candidates will receive short notice for work opportunities. Night and weekend shifts may be required. These positions are not eligible for county benefits. The starting wage is $17.00 per hour, and more than one candidate may be hired for these roles.
