Warehouse Supervisor: Directs warehousing activities for the organization by establishing procedures to for inventory control, material management, and supervision of warehouse employees to ensure quality and a safe working environment. Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy for inventory control, and ability to manage employees on a daily basis. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Work environment is usually loud and while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration and occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.

· Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.

· Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.

· Orders assigned production raw materials.

· Drives Yard Mule and trailer combination within the plant yard to and from dock.

· Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production and maintenance.

· Directs salvage of damaged or used material.

· Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of equipment, department, or work crews.

· Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

· Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of equipment, department, or work crews.

· Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

· Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

· Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

· Wears Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.

· Completes all required Food Safety and GMP training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.

· Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
