Painter

Full time and part time employment opportunities primarily Monday through Friday between 7:45 am and 4:15 pm

Wage: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience

General Description of the Position:

Repairing of walls and painting according to work orders. Attends all meetings of the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
* Background in maintenance and repair.
* Must have basic knowledge of wall repair, painting, and carpentry skills.

Essential Functions:

* Stands, walks, stoops, sits, climbs stairs and ladders.
* Pushes and pulls, lifts and carries heavy materials and equipment.
* Handles and manipulates hand tools.
* Drives cars and trucks.
* Works indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

1. Paints assigned areas according to work order
2. Responsible for move out inspections of individuals' apartments and repairs.
3. Some janitorial duties.
4. Responsible for upkeep of assigned maintenance vehicle.
5. Responsible for all assigned tools and keys.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
