KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 1. General knowledge of mental illness. 2. Knowledge of and skill in using computer keyboard for typing and data entry. 3. Ability to interact professionally with clients and customers in person and by telephone. 4. Ability to work successfully in a positive, professional, flexible team environment. 5. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. 6. Ability to maintain a South Dakota driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance and safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent with preference for experience in a human services field. Associate’s degree in the social sciences or human services field and two years’ experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and experience preferred. PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS: Hand and finger dexterity for computer keyboarding. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and frequent bending, stooping and light to moderate lifting exerting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
